Jan. 19, 2023 — We Are ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State University
With an announcement video from President Bloomberg, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ unveiled its new brand identity and University logo.


With the start of this term, President Bloomberg spoke to students about setting goals for the spring and embracing the diversity of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ community.


In an article co-written by President Bloomberg and President Michael Baston of Cuyahoga Community College, they explore the responsibility of public educational institutions to address racial disparities in ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ and to follow the wisdom of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in commemoration of the national holiday.


President Bloomberg addressed the graduating fall Class of 2022 in the Wolstein Center. She also had the honor of introducing ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ radio icon Lawrence James Travagliante, honorary degree recipient, and former Ohio State Representative and Senator Sandra Williams, the University's commencement speaker.Ìý


A few days before the University closed for the Thanksgiving break, President Bloomberg wished everyone at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ a restful and enjoyable holiday.


In a message to students, faculty and staff members, President Bloomberg commented on the history of Veterans Day and the importance of recognizing the veterans and military-connected members of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ community.

Nov. 2, 2022 — Interview with Theatre and Dance Department
For the November issue of the "ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Matters" newsletter, President Bloomberg spoke with the cast, crew and co-directors of the Theatre and Dance Department's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. President Bloomberg also had the opportunity to visit the set on stage at Playhouse Square.


During her presidential inauguration, President Bloomberg spoke on the theme of "Living Well Together, On Our Campus, In Our City." SheÌýshined a spotlight on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ community's talents, research and achievements which are benefitting the University's students, Northeast Ohio and beyond.

On the start of the fall 2022 semester and the new academic year, President Bloomberg reminded students to take the time to consider their goals for the semester and recognize the resources they may need to be successful.Ìý

Messages from the 2021-22 Academic Year


President Bloomberg shared a message with students, faculty and staff to to promote awareness of this national holiday, its history and the university's upcoming Juneteenth events.


At the beginning of Pride Month, President Bloomberg invited the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ community to participate in Pride in the CLE events and discussed the importance of a welcoming and respectful culture.

May 15, 2022 — Remarks to the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ-Marshall College of Law Class of 2022
President Bloomberg delivered remarks to graduates from the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ-Marshall College of Law. She also addressed the mass shooting at Tops Market in Buffalo, New York, which occured on May 14.Ìý

President Bloomberg looks back at our academic year with help from several members of our campus community and highlights the great strides we have made together, including institutional milestones and innovative contributions to our community.


President Bloomberg wished students at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ a successful Spring 2022 Exam Week and a wonderful summer, while also encouraging students to reflect on their accomplishments from the 2021-22 academic year.


As part of ÌýPresident Bloomberg announced the names of three newly formed colleges.


President Bloomberg remarked on the leadership transition at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State University and celebrates the university's successes over the past year.Ìý
